Visit him at the Meditation Circle to participate in the ritual and unlock your Hero’s full potential by rerolling their Genes!All Heroes will require a reroll in order to determine their Crafting Profession Genes (formerly Stats Unknown 1 and 2). In addition, the rerolling process will repair any Heroes that are currently afflicted with Tainted Genes.Read on to find out more!“The stones speak to those with a talent for creation. Sit still and listen, so that you might hear them.”Gene RerollsCrafting GenesEvery existing Hero will need to undergo a reroll in order to reveal its two Crafting Professions. This reroll will set the Dominant and three Recessive genes for both traits. These Heroes are marked by a dice badge:Each of the eight Crafting Professions is associated with two stats and an Element. In the future, Heroes whose stats and Element align with one of their Crafting Professions will be more proficient at that craft. These alignments are as follows:Crafting Gene RewardsWhen Heroes reroll their crafting genes, they will receive a small permanent stat increase to two stats, based on the newly rolled genes and the table above:+1 to the “Stat 1” corresponding to the Hero’s dominant Crafting1 gene+1 to the “Stat 2” corresponding to the Hero’s dominant Crafting2 geneSkill points set to match the Hero level, to put towards future Combat abilitiesNote: The intention is for each Hero to have 1 Skill Point per level, including Level 1, which this resolves. Future summons will receive 1 Skill Point at the time of summon and every Hero will receive +1 Skill Point when Leveling.Tainted GenesHeroes that are descended from Team Heroes #1–19 and received “tainted” (non-basic) Active and Passive Ability genes will have those genes rerolled as part of this process. These Heroes are marked with a DNA badge:Most of these will be rerolled to basic genes, but a handful that successfully mutated will reroll to “advanced” or “elite” ranks, depending on how many mutations they underwent.Tainted Gene Reroll RewardsWhen a Hero with these tainted genes is rerolled, it will receive all of the bonuses from the crafting rewards, plus small permanent bonuses to its stats and stat growth, including:+1 to its top two stats+1% to the Primary Stat Growth of its top two stats+1% to the Secondary Stat Growth of its top two statsNote: Heroes #1–19 will not receive these rewards.RestrictionsIn order to make sure that players take advantage of the new Crafting Profession genes and to prevent tainted genes from spreading any further, the following restrictions are being put in place:Un-rerolled Heroes will no longer be able to be listed in the TavernExisting un-rerolled Heroes will be placed behind a filter in the Tavern in one week from releaseHeroes with tainted genes cannot be listed or purchased in the Tavern and are entirely hidden from viewUn-rerolled Heroes cannot Summon, Dark Summon, or be placed for HireUn-rerolled Heroes will not be able to participate in crafting or PVP Combat once availableRerolling Your HeroesTo get started with rerolling, visit the Esoteric Wanderer at the Meditation Circle in either Serendale or Crystalvale and select “Gene Rerolling”.Select any number of Heroes, review your selections, and choose “Reroll Genes”. Select “Yes, I’m sure” on the confirmation modal. The interface will create batch transactions for your wallet as needed for you to sign.Once the Begin Reroll transactions are completed, you will need to wait 20 seconds before completing the reroll.
