  2. We are excited to bring you the Living Launch Task List! This document shows all the features of Serendale that we are all eagerly awaiting, as well as their current status. This live look into the development process will be your guide to what’s ready and what’s being worked on as we approach launch, so that everyone can be prepared for the big day. In regards to that big day, once internal testing of all Phase 1 Items has passed, we will announce the new launch date. We do not believe that will take long, but it leaves room for the unknown. Really it just means keep an eye on this document, because once testing is passing, it means go-time is right around the corner! Keep in mind, with the additional time, some Phase 2 features will be included with Phase 1 now, as they will be ready to go, including Gen0s and Summoning! Serendale 2.0 Launch Checklist - Live What you’re looking at: Columns A-F give insight into the work of several departments that has already been done in preparation for launch.Column G is the status field referred to above, with “Complete” indicating that all testing has passed and the feature is ready to launch (what we’re looking for in every feature), “In Progress” indicating that testing is happening now, and “Pending” showing that it is in the queue to be tested as other items are completed.A few items are now “In Progress” in the Solidity column, those are the features that were complete but did not pass testing and are now being refactored to take full advantage of the offerings of the Klaytn network. Column H has comments for these type of updates.Connect with DeFi KingdomsDeFi Kingdoms WebsiteWhitepaper / Official Docs | ChartsDiscord CommunityTwitter | Telegram | Reddit | Instagram | Facebook | YouTubeDeFi Kingdoms: Serendale Launch Task List was originally published in DeFi Kingdoms Official on Medium, where people are continuing the conversation by highlighting and responding to this story. 3. Collaborating with a new partner, Liquify, we are pleased to announce we have launched our own public RPC for DeFi Kingdoms on the Klaytn Blockchain! For the best DeFi Kingdoms experience following Serendale launch, please add and use the following RPC: Network Name: Klaytn Mainnet New RPC URL: https://klaytn.rpc.defikingdoms.com/ Chain ID: 8217 Symbol: KLAY Block Explorer URL: https://scope.klaytn.com Additionally, for our community developers we would like to mention All That Node. All That Node All That Node allows the deployment of a private RPC node with up to 10,000 daily calls — free of charge — (both Mainnet and Testnet), which should allow for smooth testing and deployment. If you are developing a product or service that uses several calls per day, and you are willing to utilize this free service, it will help to keep the load on our public RPC lighter, giving a better experience to everyone! 4. DeFi Kingdoms: Serendale — Klaytn Launch DetailsAs we announced earlier this week, DeFi Kingdoms: Serendale will be relaunching on Klaytn on Monday, November 21st, 2022. While our initial launches on Harmony and DFK Chain started small, the Klaytn launch will include many of the features of Serendale that you already know and love. This article outlines our launch plan, but feature availability is subject to change. DeFi Kingdoms: Serendale will feature a new look for your old favorite NPCs and a map made up of familiar elements with some updated sections designed for this new launch on Klaytn. Expected Phase 1 Features (available on launch):Locked JEWEL and Land Snapshots & AirdropsOn November 14th at 12pm EST, a snapshot will be taken of all Locked JEWEL and Land ownership. This data will be used for airdrops in Serendale and Crystalvale. Any transfers made after that time will not change the recipient address. For more details on the conversion of Locked JEWEL see the updated tokenomics schedule. Airdrops of the following will take place on November 21: Unlocked JADE (Klaytn)Vesting JADE (Klaytn)Locked JADE (Klaytn)Vesting JEWEL (DFK Chain)Airdrops of Locked CRYSTAL (DFK Chain) and Serendale Land (Klaytn) will take place on a later date. BridgesDockmaster Maria has been preparing to open the Docks and will have bridges for Tokens, Heroes, and Pets, available at launch. Marketplace (DEX)Buy and sell JADE, game resources, and other Klaytn tokens via Trader Matoya on our new Klaytn DEX. GardensThe Gardens will offer incentivized pools that emit JADE tokens as a reward for providing liquidity. There will be both unlocked and locked JADE rewards, with an initially high emission rate that declines after each epoch. Garden emissions will begin 24 hours after Vesting and Locked JADE airdrops have been completed. The initial pairings available in the Gardens will be as follows: JADE:JEWELJADE:KLAYJADE:AVAXJADE:USDTJADE:BTCJADE:ETHJEWEL:KLAYJEWEL:AVAXJEWEL:USDTJEWEL:BTCJEWEL:ETHJewelersJEWEL will go live at launch. JEWEL tokens can be staked with the Jeweler for sJEWEL to earn a portion of in-game transactions. This locking mechanism encourages staking into the protocol, and allows those who want to support the project for the long term to have more of a say and receive a larger share of the rewards. For more information on sJEWEL (and cJEWEL, its Crystalvale counterpart), see our whitepaper. TavernAgent Selina and Barkeep Kessing will be ready to list your Heroes for sale and track them in the Hero Catalog. QuestsProfession and Training Quests will be available to your Heroes on Day 1. For Profession Quests, that will fully include Fishing, Foraging, and Gold Mining. JADE Mining will be available to players once they have locked JADE tokens, either from the airdrop, or from claiming Gardening rewards. Gardening Quests will be immediately available, but rewards will be limited until Gardening emissions are live. All eight Training Quests will also be ready for Heroes, each corresponding to one of the eight main stats. These include Arm Wrestling (STR), Alchemist Assistance (INT), Puzzle Solving (WIS), Card Game (LCK), Game of Ball (AGI), Dancing (END), Helping the Farms (VIT), and Darts (DEX). Meditation CircleThe Esoteric Wanderer has once again defied time and space, and is ready to help your Heroes focus their inner essence and increase their stats by leveling up. PetsHatcher Jerek will once again be ready to help you incubate your Pet eggs, He’ll also help find your Pets a new home by selling them to another player, or if necessary, he knows a nice pasture where they’ll be well taken care of. AlchemistAlchemist Herbert will be brewing up some potions in his hut for immediate consumption, hoarding for later, or crafting at the Stone Carver. Phase 2 Features (available shortly after launch):Summoning PortalThe rift in space that opened up in Serendale has left the Summoning Portal temporarily unavailable. The Druids are working hard to bring new Heroes from the Inner Grove once again. Item VendorVendor Zada is still busy restocking his wares before heading back out into the Central Marketplace. Stone CarverGarth informs us that Master Rudel has wandered off on “business” once again, and will return soon to resume his Stone Carving work. DFK DuelsThe Duelmaster has been learning some new tricks from top duelers in Crystalvale, and will be returning soon to share them with players in Adelyn. Gen0 RerollOwners of Gen0 Heroes from Serendale 1.0 and Crystalvale will be eligible to reroll some of their Heroes’ genes to include those from the new classes. Incentives for this event will be the same as previously during the Crystalvale launch. For more details on how this process worked, see the Vithraven’s Reawakening event in our docs. 5. The dark day has come… Dark Summoning is now live in Crystalvale. Dark Summoning is a new feature that allows players to sacrifice two Heroes to summon a new one. Dark Summoning can be found on the Map near the Meditation Circle, or on the Menu. How to Perform a Dark SummonTo begin you will click on the Summoner and select “Infuse Dark Crystal”. Begin the Dark Summoning ritualThe next step will be to select your Heroes to sacrifice. Heroes that are used in this ritual are burned as a part of the cost to summon. Because the Heroes are burned, Dark Summoning carries fewer restrictions than regular summoning. However, Gen0 Heroes are not allowed to participate in the Dark Summoning ritual. Unlike summoning which does not allow Heroes to summon with their “parents” or “siblings”, Dark Summoning allows those Heroes of a common ancestry to summon together. One or both summoning Heroes may have 0 summons and will still be allowed to summon. The newly summoned Hero will also have 0 summons in this case. Choose your Heroes to be sacrificed in the Dark Summoning ritualDue to the destructive nature of the Dark Summoning ritual, Hero hiring is not allowed. The player must own both Heroes involved in the process. In addition, the summoning cooldown timer is ignored for Dark Summoning. Once your Heroes have been chosen, you can select your other options for the summon. Summoning BoostsAdd Gaia’s Tears and Enhancement Stones, and increase rarity chances for every remaining summonPlayers may choose to use Enhancement Stones and infuse the new summon with Gaia’s Tears to receive stat bonuses. Your Hero must be at least Level 5 to add more Tears to the summoning crystal. For each remaining summon that the selected Heroes have, players can spend additional CRYSTAL and Gaia’s Tears to boost the rarity chances of the summoned Hero. The cost for this boost is 0.625 CRYSTAL and 20 Gaia’s Tears per summon. Boosting rarity in this way does not affect the available summons of the new Hero. Dark Summoning costs 1/4 the amount of CRYSTAL of standard Summoning. Once you have selected all your options, you must be sure to type in “BURN” to verify the transaction before you begin the Dark Summon and infuse the Crystal. Complete the Dark Summoning RitualOnce the Crystal is infused, your Heroes will be sacrificed. The next step is the summon your new Hero! Additional MechanicsRemaining SummonsThe number of summons that the new Hero is capable of follows the same rules as standard summoning (1 less than the total of the summoning Hero with the least summons). As noted above, Heroes with 0 summons remaining can still Dark Summon. Level UpsIn exchange for the sacrifice of the summoning Heroes, Dark Summoned Heroes are eligible to immediately level up to the average level of the two summoning Heroes (rounded down). No XP is necessary for these level ups, and any XP earned will not carry over. Level ups are done individually, and players can choose stats for Gaia’s Blessing and use Attunement Crystals during each one. RarityThe base rarity chances for Dark Summoned Heroes are increased from regular Summoning as follows: There is also a rarity floor, in which the new Hero will not have a rarity lower than the average of the two summoning Heroes (rounded down). So, a Common and a Rare will result in at least an Uncommon, and two Mythics will always produce another Mythic Hero. ShinyThe chance of receiving a Shiny Hero is increased by 5x over standard Summoning. 6. As announced in last week’s AMA, our first Serendale Gen0 giveaway qualification has begun. Retroactive to midnight eastern of October 18th, we are starting a Summoning Event! Each summon will be 1 entry in the raffle and the tracking will be 12:00am (midnight) eastern October 18th until 11:59pm eastern November 15th! This raffle will be for 50 Serendale 2.0 Gen0s! Each wallet can only win once. As you all know, we look for ways to discourage multi-walleting in order to get around the one win per wallet portion of our raffles. This event is no different. Therefore, we will be implementing the following system: Each additional summon performed by the same wallet will be worth .02 entries more than the previous summon. We will then use standard rounding to determine the final number of entries (.5 or more rounds up). Example: Summon 1 = 1 entry = 1 total entry Summon 2 = 1.02 entries = 2.02 or 2 total entries (rounds down) Summon 3 = 1.04 entries = 3.06 or 3 total entries (rounds down) Summon 4 = 1.06 entries = 4.12 or 4 total entries (rounds down) Summon 5 = 1.08 entries = 5.2 or 5 total entries (rounds down) Summon 6 = 1.1 entries = 6.3 or 6 total entries (rounds down) Summon 7 = 1.12 entries = 7.42 or 7 total entries (rounds down) Summon 8 = 1.14 entries = 8.56 or **9** total entries (rounds up) *This particular qualifier is for regular summoning in Crystalvale only. Does not include Dark Summoning, we will announce more on that when it is ready. Serendale 1.0 — Harmony OutpostHow to move remaining assets to Crystalvale The remaining Outpost of Serendale 1.0 on Harmony“The thread of this reality has finally snapped and has begun to sag under the enormity of its own weight. The Harmony OutpostWhat remains on Serendale 1.0 can be found on our new Harmony Outpost. Here, you can collect and move any remaining assets to Crystalvale, while we await the upcoming launch on Klaytn. A handful of NPCs have remained behind in order to facilitate moving your assets: Druid Lazarus (Liquidity Pool Tokens)Visit Druid Lazarus to withdraw any Liquidity Pool tokens from the former Gardens, and split the seeds back into the original tokens. Druid Lazarus will split any remaining Gardens Seeds (LP Tokens)JEWEL can be bridged directly to Crystalvale on DFK Chain at the Dockmaster. Some other tokens like AVAX are better sent to Avalanche C-Chain first, either through the in-game Synapse Bridge or the Multichain Bridge. Always be aware of liquidity when bridging tokens! Jeweler Ian (xJEWEL)Jeweler Ian will help you withdraw any xJEWEL that you have and convert it back into JEWEL for bridging. Jeweler Ian will help you withdraw your xJEWELDockmaster Maria (Bridging)The Dockmaster will help you bridge all of your remaining Tokens, Heroes, and Pets. Choose the relevant menu item and send them on their way! Caution: Take note of the recommended gas fees with these transactions. Only 100–150 gwei is needed, but they will often default to 1000 gwei. Bridge your Tokens, Heroes, and Pets with Dockmaster MariaItem BridgeDon’t forget to bridge your Bloaters, Ragweed, Enhancement Stones, Attunement Crystals, Potions, and all the other quest items you’ve earned in Serendale. Visit your Inventory, click on the item you want to bridge, and select “Bridge Item.” Once you approve and sign the transaction, your Bloaters will be safely on their way! Locked JEWELYour locked JEWEL balance is not bridgeable. It will be snapshotted and redistributed on DFK Chain and Klaytn as locked JEWEL, locked CRYSTAL, and locked JADE according to the new tokenomics distribution schedule that was voted on and approved by the community. You do not need to do anything with your locked JEWEL. What an adventure we’ve had together in Serendale 1.0! We’ll see you on the other side! 10. What is cJEWEL and sJEWEL?cJEWEL adopts the benefits gained from the veToken model developed by Curve, and combines that with a method for fee sharing and subscription-based locking. cJEWEL is the name for the governance token in Crystalvale, and sJEWEL is the equivalent for Serendale. (cJEWEL and sJEWEL are functionally the same) Key differences from xJEWEL: Users must lock up JEWEL in the Jeweler contract for a period of time of their choice (between 7 and 1095 days) in order to receive cJEWELJeweler fee sharing will work more like how LP staking works in the gardens (claim rewards separately from interacting with cJEWEL)cJEWEL can be used to activate premium features such as experience buffs (feature to come after cJEWEL launch)cJEWEL Formula and ExamplesThe amount of cJEWEL earned is governed by the following formula: where MAX DAYS is 1095, and the minimum number of days to lock is 7Example: Keal has 50,000 JEWEL and wants to deposit them in the Jeweler. He decides to deposit for the minimum locking period of 7 days and receives ~320 cJEWEL. Rolando doesn’t have the same means as Keal, but he decides to make up for that by depositing his JEWEL for longer. Not willing to be outdone by Keal, he decides to get 320 cJEWEL of his own by depositing ~960 JEWEL for a year. Takeaway: You don’t have to have the most JEWEL to have the most influence with this model. Jeweler InteractionsThis model changes the way the user will interact with the Jeweler, see below for the functions you could call: createLock — (Only available if you have 0 cJEWEL) Takes a selected amount of JEWEL to deposit and days to lock and gives back cJEWEL based on the values chosenincreaseAmount — Allows you to add more JEWEL to your deposited balance and receive more cJEWEL based on the remaining locking schedule for the existing balanceincreaseUnlockTime — Allows you to receive cJEWEL by extending the unlocking period of your existing JEWEL balanceclaimReward — Allows you to claim any pending fee-sharing rewards from the JewelerupdatePool — Will update the rewards available to everyone with cJEWEL by pulling in fees from the Fee Collector contract (this is also called whenever anyone deposits, extends unlocking periods, claims rewards, or withdraws)withdraw — Allows you to withdraw your entire JEWEL balance from the Jeweler if your locking period is expiredemergencyWithdraw — Allows you to withdraw before your locking period is expired, but with a 50% penalty (which is burned). The withdrawal penalty is only applied to the principle of the staking, not the rewards.Jeweler Rewards and Fee CollectorIn order to include fee sharing with the veToken model, a different methodology was necessary. Rather than selling cJEWEL to get more JEWEL than you put in based on a ratio, here rewards are accrued and claimed in the same way that the Gardens works with receiving and claiming LP rewards. The only difference is that the rewards coming in vary depending on what fees have been paid since the last reward pool update. For more detail on all of that math, see this article. Benefits to Holding cJEWELGovernance will utilize the cJEWEL balance of users for voting on proposalsThe cJEWEL system is much more resistant to bad actors who want to just buy up votes and dump their voting power immediately afterThe system awards those who are long term on the project with more voting power per locked JEWELRewards will come by way of fee sharing, but also regular airdrops can be implemented thanks to the safer timelock nature of cJEWELSubscriptions will require that you are holding a certain amount of cJEWEL in order to gain access to a benefitExperience bonuses, access to premium features, discounts on fees, etc., are all being considered for this systemAdditional DetailscJEWEL tokens will be soulbound to the wallet that generates themYou may hold your cJEWEL after the locking period has expired and still receive rewards and governance powerAll cJEWEL is burned when withdrawing your locked JEWEL balanceSubscriptions may require extending your locking period if it is below a minimum thresholdSubscriptions use your “available subscription balance,” which is the total amount of cJEWEL you own minus the cJEWEL requirements of each of your subscriptionsSubscriptions do not change your cJEWEL balanceWhile the maximum locking time allowed is 3 years, it is expected that most users will use locking periods of 1 year or lessJeweler 2.0 was originally published in DeFi Kingdoms Official on Medium, where people are continuing the conversation by highlighting and responding to this story. 13. Queue and Claim your Quests all at once! That’s right! Long-awaited but never forgotten, Multi-Questing is finally here! You can now queue or claim multiple Hero quests in a single transaction! Multi-questing begins with a new set of buttons on the bottom left of the screen that allow you to access all the new features. Quest ListThe Quest List lets you access all of the different quests in Crystalvale from a single place. Click “View Quest” to bring up the window for that particular quest, where you can select Heroes for the quest as normal. The Vithraven Quest List lets you access all different quests from a single windowHowever, instead of selecting “Start Quest”, there is a new option to “Queue Multi-Quest”, which will add this quest to your Quest Queue, and remove the Heroes from visibility in the Hero selector window. Multi-Quest QueueOnce you have queued up all of your quests, visit the Multi-Quest Queue to review them, remove any that you don’t want to submit, and then start the quest. Once you are satisfied with your quest selections, press “Submit all” and sign the transaction. Your Heroes are on their way! Active QuestsUse the newly improved Active Quests window to review all of your quests that are completed, in-progress, or waiting to begin. From here, you can still collect quests individually, or you can add them to the queue to complete them all at once! You can add quests to the queue individually, or use the +/- buttons at the top to add or remove five at a time, or all at once. Once you’re ready, press “Complete All Queued Quests” and sign the transaction. Once completed, your quest rewards will appear in a new window, with each quest on a separate page, so you can easily see what booty all of your Heroes returned with! About Gas LimitsOne thing to be aware of when starting or completing Multi-Quests is that they are very gas intensive to process on the blockchain. Each block produced on DFK Chain has a limit of 30 million gas that can be used across all transactions in the block. A large Multi-Quest can fill an entire block on its own! When starting and completing Multi-Quests, if you have a lot of Heroes, you may find yourself running up against these gas limits, which will cause the transaction to immediately fail. Be cautious of gas limits when Multi-QuestingTo help with these limits, you can refer to the gas limit calculator on all of the Multi-Quest windows, which will let you know when you’re hitting up against that limit. The interface will not let you proceed if you’ve queued up too many transactions, and you may need to remove some to continue. We hope that you enjoy this long-awaited feature! These new tokens include: KLAY (Klaytn)MATIC (Polygon)FTM (Fantom)BTC.b (Avalanche Bitcoin)With the addition of these new tokens, a governance vote was held to determine whether to incentivize new pools. The proposals for KLAY and BTC.b passed, while those for MATIC and FTM did not. Accordingly, on 9/16 at 9pm ET, we will be adding & adjusting the following pools & allocations: New Pools CRYSTAL-BTC.b — 5%CRYSTAL-KLAY — 5%JEWEL-KLAY — 5%JEWEL-AVAX — 5%JEWEL-BTC.b — 5%JEWEL-ETH — 5%BTC.b-USDC — 1%Allocations Down xJEWEL-JEWEL — 35% --> 14%CRYSTAL-AVAX — 20% --> 15%CRYSTAL-ETH — 15% --> 9%Allocations Up JEWEL-USDC — 4% --> 5%Additionally, the JEWEL-xJEWEL pool, which was intended to facilitate the reward of CRYSTAL in the early stages of the CV realm, will need to be fully removed prior to the SD 1.0 shut down, so that the xJEWEL can be bridged back and redeemed prior to the bridges no longer supporting JEWEL. 17. Greenskeeper Sivia is ready to help you with your gardens! The day has come — your Heroes can finally Garden in Crystalvale! Pay a visit to the Profession Quests area on the map and speak with Greenskeeper Sivia to get started. Gardening Changes for CrystalvaleLike in Serendale, you can send Gardeners to each of the incentivized gardens to earn token rewards and rare items. Unlike Serendale, with Crystalvale Gardening, you can send up to two Heroes to each pool at the same time. The first Hero will earn CRYSTAL rewards, and the second Hero will earn JEWEL. Starting a Gardening QuestBegin by clicking on the empty Hero border in the Start Quest dialogue window and selecting a garden for your quest. Choose one or two Heroes to be sent to that Garden. The first Hero will Garden for CRYSTAL and the second Hero will Garden for JEWEL. Once you have chosen your Heroes, click Begin Quest, and sign the transaction. Once you send Heroes on a Gardening Quest, you will not be able to add or remove any Heroes from that team until it finishes. You can still queue multiple Quests at once. Completing a Gardening QuestOnce your Heroes have finished Gardening, click Collect Hero to finish the quest and collect your rewards! You can also end a quest early, and will earn rewards only for the number of reward blocks completed. CRYSTAL & JEWEL RewardsHeroes will always earn a minimum of .0002 CRYSTAL or JEWEL per reward block that they spend doing a Gardening quest (10 minutes for Heroes with the Gardening gene, 12 minutes for Heroes without it). If you have deposited seeds (LP tokens) in the Seed Box for that particular garden, you will earn higher rewards based on: Your share of the LP tokens in that gardenThe emissions allocation of that gardenLike with Serendale, Gardening Quests are launching with a Reward Bonus, which will slowly decrease every two weeks until it reaches the base reward level. Heroes also have a chance of earning bonus CRYSTAL or JEWEL! For each 15 Stamina spent, the Hero will receive a bonus roll with a: 9.9% chance of receiving 0.1 CRYSTAL/JEWEL0.1% chance of receiving 1 CRYSTAL/JEWELNote: each jackpot is only available when the Quest Reward Fund has at least 950k CRYSTAL or JEWEL, respectively. Gardening Item RewardsPlayers will also receive a variety of item rewards from Gardening Quests. The base drop rates are as follows, and increase based on individual Hero stats: Spiderfruit — 6% per 5 Stamina spentMilkweed — 4% per 5 Stamina spentBluestem — 9% per 5 Stamina spentGaia’s Tears — 7.5%-11.25%* per 5 Stamina spentShvās Runes — 0.3%-1.5%* per 5 Stamina spentMoksha Runes — .009%-.045%* per 5 Stamina spentGreen Pet Egg — .02% per 10 Stamina spent* The higher number is for Heroes with the Gardening gene Happy Gardening! 20. We are pleased to announce that through our partnership with Synapse, ETH is now supported on DFK Chain. With this new functionality, we will be adding in a few ETH pairs. We will also be adding a JEWEL-USDC pair to have more accurate JEWEL pricing on DFK chain, given its importance to the subnet offering and recent events on Harmony pairs that affected pricing. Proposed CV Gardens Breakdown: New Pools CRYSTAL-ETH 15%JEWEL — USDC 4%ETH-USDC 1%Existing Pools Rebalance CRYSTAL — USDC 15% — No ChangeCRYSTAL- AVAX 20% — Up 5%CRYSTAL-JEWEL 10% — No ChangexJEWEL-JEWEL 35% — Down 25%In addition, Synapse has updated the estimated GWEI when bridging tokens on Harmony from 45 to 115 (matching our current in-game estimates) to ensure that transactions process without issue. The ETH bridge functionality will be going live shortly, and can be accessed through the Avalanche C-Chain outpost, or gamified bridge at the DFK Docks zone. The above emission allocations will go into effect at least 24 hours after this announcement to give people the opportunity to prepare related tokens to any desired changes to allocations. 21. Patch Notes Update — July 28, 2022Good release-adjacent day, Kingdom! We’ve got a set of exciting releases coming your way today as we continue our forward momentum towards Crystalvale parity. — Beetle DudeMining Professions QuestsPickman KhudmireWhile working late into the evening, Pickman Khudmire broke through a load-bearing wall in the cavern which nearly crushed him with a thousand tons of rock. After recovering, he realized that the collapse had inadvertently opened up a wide region of the cavern that was as yet unexplored, where he found large deposits of Gold and Crystal. And he needs your Heroes’ help clearing it out! Navigate over to the Professions zone and put your miners to work in Crystalvale collecting all the Gold and Crystal they can carry. Just a tip, be careful where you dig! A couple hard numbers to keep in mind while mining for Crystal*: At least 1,250 locked CRYSTAL is required to earn the maximum jackpot of 10 CRYSTAL (periodically)At least 5,000 locked CRYSTAL is required to mine for maximum reward*These numbers are different from Serendale due to the difference in max supplyAlchemistA mysterious figure and his less-than-mysterious assistant have taken up residence in an abandoned storehouse just outside of town and gone straight to work transforming it into a bastion of alchemical delights. Inside the cramped interior, there’s a palpable wall of fumes emanating from several cauldrons and decanters strewn about the room. The alchemist shuffles forward slowly and speaks in low, pained tones. He offers a collection of potions to brew under his expert hand. Bring your gathered supplies and newly discovered Gold to mix up a few potions! 22. Quick Update — July 26, 2022Hi Everyone! As announced in the AMA, we are planning to update Crystalvale Gardens allocations this week, contingent on ETH being supported by the integrated bridge through Synapse. However, given recent news, we are looking to adjust down the currently very large SD allocation to J:ONE pool (that increased as a result of the removal of pairs that were affected by bridge incident). New allocation for the SD J:ONE pool will be ~20% of emissions. We plan to give the community at least 12 hours to digest the public information, and this adjustment before implementing. We will keep the group updated if we run into similar issues with the Harmony multi-sig (as we did last adjustment that caused some delays). We will be monitoring APRs and trading, if there is reason, we may consider adjusting sooner (as a crisis management solution) but will update prior to doing so. One more note: there have been some questions on the back of the AMA as it relates to potential options for tokenomics adjustments associated with a potential migration to a different chain. We wanted to reiterate that no current plan being considered involves diluting (adding to) the overall supply of utility tokens. - Dreamer DeFi Kingdoms Website Discord Reddit Telegram Facebook Twitter Instagram YouTube Quick Update — July 26, 2022 was originally published in DeFi Kingdoms Official on Medium, where people are continuing the conversation by highlighting and responding to this story. 23. Patch Notes Update — July 15, 2022Good release day, Kingdom! As we continue barreling towards feature parity on Crystalvale, we’re bringing y’all another popular feature this week to keep your Heroes questing and leveling all in one place. That’s right, the Esoteric Wanderer has finally tapped into the full power of the Meditation Circle in Crystalvale and is ready to guide your experience-packed Heroes through the leveling process. Not only that but there’s a couple other high-demand features coming along with it. In a word, this week’s release is stacked! — Beetle DudeMeditation CircleEnter the hallowed hall carved out of rock by ancient forces and feel the heat from an open lava flow blazing over your entire body. Instead of burning, it seems to refresh. The power of this place is palpable and overwhelming. Speak with the Esoteric Wanderer, select your stats to target, and level up your Heroes. And may the power of the Meditation Circle guide you! Transferring Items and Eternal Story PagesWith this release, you can now send your inventory items to another wallet directly through the game! This also includes individual pages of the Eternal Story (ERC1155 tokens). Just open your inventory, select the item you want to send and click the Send Item button. In the modal, add the wallet address and total quantity to send and complete the transaction. Note: this update does not include bridging items between Harmony and DFK Chain, which functionality will be coming later on. Now, get out there and spread those items around! 100 Plus HeroesFor anyone building up an entire army of Heroes (over 100), we’ve added some much-needed improvements to Hero management, especially with regards to questing and leveling. When questing with multiple pages of Heroes, you should now see your Heroes properly sorted to the top based on profession and remaining stamina. In addition, when leveling Heroes they can now be sorted by XP progress rather than XP value. These improvements should make army management more…manageable! Bug FixesThe Meditation Circle in both Crystalvale and Serendale have been upgraded to fix an issue introduced with the Gen0 re-roll, where Heroes could have a mismatch between the subclass gene and the subclass property in the Hero struct, if their dominant subclass changed. For example: the dominant subclass gene changed from 2 to 5 but the subClass property stayed at 2. This issue will be fixed when a Gen0 Hero levels up at the Meditation Circle.Misc bugs sacrificed to the Meditation Circle’s lava flowThanks for being such an awesome community and Kingdom! Multi-hero Questing DurationAs part of this release, we will be removing all time penalties when grouping more than one Hero at a time for Fishing and Foraging quests in Crystalvale to start, then Serendale within the next few days. Each attempt will now take 20 seconds across the board. Gaia’s Tears UpdatePart of this release will introduce a new version of Gaia’s Tears on DFK Chain, to account for some necessary contract upgrades coinciding with the new quest contracts. Starting today, all summoning on DFK Chain will use the new token (earned via questing or by migrating from old Tears). Luckily, it’s simple to migrate! Just pull up your current Gaia’s Tears in your inventory, click to open their tooltip, and Approve and complete the Migration process. This will convert all of the original Tears over to the new version in a single transaction. Note: For a limited time, the Tears bridge between Harmony and DFK Chain will only bridge the old Tears until the contracts are upgraded. 26. Patch Notes Update — June 27, 2022Good early release day, Kingdom! By now, the intrepid amongst you will have collected a veritable mountain of raffle tickets from your Dueling efforts. At the very least, you may have earned a few from putting me and my Heroes in their place. Well now there’s a place to spend those hard-earned tickets! Here’s the deets, with huge props to Winston Jazzhands for writing this out: These features will be available on Beta, along with the Duels feature, until they are both fully launched to production — Beetle DudeRaffle MasterNow players can spend their Duel rewards at the Raffle Master, who’s set up in the Castle. There are five types of Raffles: Mini, Small, Medium, Large, and the Gold Pot. Mini Raffles run for 15 minutes, Small Raffles run for 6 hours, Medium Raffles run for 24 hours, and Large Raffles run for 7 days. Rewards are better for bigger Raffles but they take longer to complete. All Raffles are configured to run automatically and be opened, closed, and drawn by players. Each Raffle will have information describing how many tickets the player has entered, how many total entries there are, and the chances of the player winning. The player can add more tickets to increase their chances. Players cannot cancel ticket entries after they have been made. Tickets are removed from the player’s inventory at the time of entering. Raffle entries require a minimum of one ticket and the max entries are one ticket for every three seconds remaining in the raffle. For example, a Mini Raffle has a 900 second duration so the max entries a player could make would be 300, assuming they entered them the moment the Raffle began. Every three seconds, the amount of entries possible would go down so at 899 seconds the max entries would be 299. When the Raffle entry time ends, no more tickets will be accepted. At that point, any player can close the Raffle. When the Raffle has been closed, winners can be drawn and awards appear in the form of Airdrops within a few minutes after drawing winners. Any player can draw winners after the raffle is closed. Gold PotIn item raffles, players risk their tickets without the guarantee of winning anything. Tickets entered into the Gold Pot will always win Gold. Players will see a raffle description that shows the time remaining for the current entry period and a Claim button to withdraw gold from previous periods if tickets were entered. The amount of Gold each player wins depends on how many tickets have been entered. The Gold Pot is split amongst all tickets, with an equal share for each. Players won’t need to start, close, or draw for the Gold Pot. Gold Pot periods are 24 hours. We’ll be using the Gold collected thus far from Duels to incentivize the next week of Gold Pots. Thanks again for being an awesome community! We’ve put a lot of work into the Raffle Master and are excited for the opportunities it will create for other features in the future. This will be the primary release for this week so no additional patch will be going out on Wednesday. Go check out the castle and keep an eye out for some amazing prizes running through the Raffle Master. Godspeed and good rafflin’!
