That’s right — we’re excited to launch Season 3 of DFK Duel on Crystalvale & Serendale! This season we’re focused on quality of life improvements, so read on to find out what’s new!Season 3 DatesBegins: February 22, 2023 at launchEnds: April 19, 2023 at 11:59:59pm EDT (8 weeks)What’s New?MatchmakingWe’re continuing to refine our matchmaking algorithms in order to ensure that players face a variety of opponents at the same difficulty level. Notably, we caught and fixed a major bug that resulted in not always facing the best opponent, and have made additional changes to remove stale entries from the matchmaking pool.Locked Token Fee DeferralsJust like other in-game Power Token transactions, you can now defer the fees for Duel entries by using either Locked CRYSTAL or Locked JADE. As with other deferrals, using locked tokens has a 4x cost to unlocked tokens, and 75% of those tokens are burned.Missed the recent announcement about deferred fees? Read more about them here:Feature Release: Deferred Fees & Token OfferingsUse Last TeamA much-requested feature, players can now pull up their last team from any Duel type with the click of a button! At the top of the Duel entry window, simply click “Use Last Team,” and your Hero selections will auto-populate!Multiple Duel EntriesPlayers can now submit multiple Duel entries at once with the same team. When choosing an entry fee, adjust the “Total Duel Entries” selection to between 1 and 10 entries, and your fees will all adjust accordingly. While you’ll still need to fight each battle individually, this should help players move through multiple Duels in far fewer transactions!Disable AnimationsLooking to quickly work your way through many Duels at once, now that you can queue them ten at a time? We’ve got you covered. A new selector allows you to disable the Duel animation when the Duel first takes place. This selection will persist, but does not impact Duel replays.Duel LeaderboardsWe’re thrilled to bring Duel Leaderboards directly into the game! Check out the Leaderboard for each mode to see how you compare with others, and fight it out for the top spots!Gen0 RafflesAnd last, but certainly not least — the Raffle Masters in both Serendale and Crystalvale have managed to rustle up a handful of unopened Gen0 Hero Crystals!These Raffles will last for four weeks — two Gen0s in each realm for the season, with four Gen0s total raffled off.
