“Hey @everyone, I wanted to spend a minute and add more details and analysis of the events of the day.

First of all, let me give a huge shout-out to Mr Faun, Beetle Dude, Magnus Ironroot, Pine Cone, Tango, and all of the other devs here at Kingdom Studios. They have worked tirelessly on very little sleep to make sure that the DFK Chain and Crystalvale launches were as successful as humanly possible. 

When pioneering a new technology like Subnets, it is possible to do everything right and still experience some rocky roads, and that's what we saw today. 

## Validators

We've been working hand in hand with Ava Labs over the past months to make sure that our Validator nodes and DFK Chain was ready for the traffic we planned to throw at it, and they performed amazingly. We are at about 2% capacity right now with the nodes, and I couldn't be happier with them.

We took the minimum requirements of Avalanche C-Chain Validators, which are already high, and doubled it, then doubled it again just for good measure. As a gaming chain, we want to make sure the experience is as good as possible.

## RPCs

RPCs are always tricky to get right, and so we partnered with Ava Labs to make sure we could handle whatever traffic was thrown at them.

There were some configuration tweaks that had to be made after launch, and for the first hour and a half things were bumpy, but Ava Labs devs came through and tweaked things until they were running very smoothly, and we are in a really good place now.

Harmony's RPC nodes were also doing well during this whole process, and we are happy to have these two great partners in our cross-chain endeavors.

## Bridging

We partnered with Synapse bridge to power and secure our cross-chain bridging, and it has been amazing working with them. Aurelius has been very responsive and instrumental during this whole process.

The bridge is also set up so that anyone who transfers any amount of tokens into DFK Chain is also given a little bit of JEWEL to use for gas, which greatly simplifies the onboarding process for new players.

After we launched, we very quickly saw a massive amount of bridged transactions from our community. The response was huge, and we sent an unprecedented amount of volume and liquidity across our bridge into DFK Chain.

Meanwhile, a "feature" in the Subnet technology that protects against spam caused us some issues, forcing the transactions from the bridge to each be processed one block at a time. We worked closely with Ava Labs and Synapse to engineer a solution that would speed that up.

We got the fix put in to allow for the bridge to submit multiple transactions in a single block. This has greatly increased the throughput of the bridge, and funds are rapidly catching up now. 

We expect all of the pending transactions to be completed within the next couple of hours.

Kudos to Synapse bridge for all of their hard work on this, and for being such great partners.

## Trading

I have seen some reports about an address that was able to trade some (about 5k) JEWELs for CRYSTALs very early after launch (5 minutes after). This address seemed to have figured out the bridging before the launch of Crystalvale. We've investigated this and have been unable to determine who it is other than a profile name associated with the address.

The address is unknown to our team, and as far as we can determine it appears to be a very tech-savvy individual who watched the bridging and blockchain transactions to figure out the addresses early, and capitalize on it. We are still investigating, but so far have seen no evidence of any kind of insider trading, which we take VERY seriously.

## Emissions

As many of you know, in order to make sure that everyone has adequate time to make it across the bridge and get their tokens staked, we have moved the emissions start time to Mar 31, 10am EDT. 

The plan is to turn it on at that time and have CRYSTAL start to accrue for everyone who is staked.

We are also going to be doing a new CRYSTAL airdrop to people who are staked by the time emissions begin, to 'backdate' their emissions to March 30, 8pm EDT. Be sure to get your tokens staked BEFORE 10am in order to qualify.

The airdropped CRYSTAL will take a couple of days to orchestrate, and they will be set up to vest linearly over 1 year, starting at 5% unlocked immediately. This means that these CRYSTALs in particular unlock a full year earlier than most other CRYSTALs from this epoch. In preparation for this, we have minted these CRYSTALs and stored them in a multisig, ready for airdrop.

## DFK Chain

Again, I can't express how amazed I am by the efforts of our team and partners. But more than that, I am absolutely blown away by the positivity and patience of all of you, our amazing community. You have all passed through one of the most trying events I can think of that has faced an entire community, and have remained positive and excited.

I would like to take one last minute and express a HUGE appreciation to our amazing Knights and Community Managers, and their leader Bolon, and all of their tireless efforts spent today answering questions and helping people. They are simply the best in the space, hands down, and we couldn't have done it without them all.
