Ronaldinho revealed himself very happy with his entrance into the soccer metaverse: “I have never imagined myself entering the metaverse, having an NFT that is a representation of me. It feels good to be remembered and invited to soccer projects even after my retirement. The metaverse and the crypto world are very new, but they’re growing all over the world, and I believe MetaSoccer will be very successful.”

Marc Cercós, CEO and co-founder of MetaSoccer recognized the importance of this new step for the game, affirming that “blockchain has allowed a revolution in videogames, and now the keyword is “property” — users can really own game assets.
