New F-Ray Goggles in the Fancy Marketplace — Find out more in this cool guide.

We are excited to bring to you Fancy Vision which is powered by our exciting new F-Ray Goggles available in the Fancy Marketplace. This is the first of the many power-ups for your birds with new and fancier additions to get you flying high in the tournaments and leaderboards.

Latest Game Introductions and New In-game Pricing

Here are some details on the F-Ray fly mode:

Release Date: June 27, 2022, 16:00 (UTC) — note that update process may take a couple of hours

Flying in F-Ray Mode: In F-Ray mode, some logs will occasionally be revealed as Golden logs. Golden logs have a 95% chance of providing a prize when a bird crashes into it. The prizes will be revealed and claimed in an opaque cloud dust in the hollowed out tree trunk once you are done flying your bird. Each pair of F-Ray Goggles can crash into a maximum of 3 Golden Logs per day.

Golden Ticket: A Golden Ticket can be used for 1 entry in the Golden Raffle. The Golden Raffle offers various prizes including crafting items, USDC, and other goodies. More information will be released on Golden Raffles at a later date, but we encourage players who want to start to accumulate tickets in the meantime.

F-Ray Goggles Features: The Goggles have three important aspects: Levels, Charges and Usage.

#1. Levels: F-Ray Goggles will be available in a multi-tier level system — 1, 2, 3 and 4 (only tier 1 will be available on release while others will be added subsequently). Higher level goggles will provide increased benefits than lower level goggles. In order to acquire a higher level F-Ray Goggle, players will need to own all levels of Goggles below their current status and also pay a small USDC fee to upgrade.

For example, if a player wants to upgrade to a pair of Level 2 F-Ray Goggles, they first need to own Level 1 F-Ray Goggles and make sure their wallet has some USDC for making the upgrade. The Level 1 F-Ray Goggles will then be consumed paving way for using a Level 2 F-Ray Goggle. To upgrade to a Level 3 F-Ray Goggle, a player needs to consume both the Level 1 and Level 2 F-Ray Goggles as well as some USDC (or sFNC or ETH). Initially, we will release Level 1 and hence upgrade options and costs will be introduced in the second phase.

#2. Charges and recharging: F-Ray Goggles come with 21 charges before they need to be recharged. Each charge allows a player to find 1 Golden log. Goggles can be fully recharged using either USDC or sFNC or ETH. New F-Ray Goggles cost $30 USDC or the equivalent price in sFNC or ETH and can be fully recharged for half that price.

#3. Daily Usage: You can use a pair of F-Ray Goggles for multiple birds and bird types. And there is no cap on how many pairs your bird can wear in a day, but each goggle will have 3 daily available charges in total. Bird owners can fly in F-Ray mode, or they have the option to rent them to other players (note that the owner pays for the goggles, except in cases where the rent is a fixed rent contact — the renter pays for the goggles in that scenario).

How to acquire a pair of F-Ray Goggles from the Fancy Marketplace?

Step 1. Go to the Fancy Marketplace.

Step 2. Connect your MetaMask wallet to the Marketplace. Be sure to have the required USDC or sFNC or ETH (on Polygon chain) for a transaction and some MATIC for gas fees.

Step 3. Select the F-Ray Goggles under the Items tab in the Marketplace. Click and confirm to purchase.

Golden Raffle: Players need Golden Tickets to enter the Golden Raffle. Each ticket has a 75% chance to win one of the items from the pool — crafting resources, in-game power-ups, or USDC prizes (ranging from $1 to $250).

So now, remember to put on F-Ray Goggles, crash into Golden Logs, win some Golden tickets and be eligible for the Golden Raffle because this is the beginning to many upcoming fancy features and items.
