Crabada Idle-Game Update — Looting Point System!
Crabada Idle-Game Update — Looting Point System!

Dear Crabadians!
The team has always held the belief of keeping the ecosystem open to a variety of participants and promoting equality of access. This has powered both our past, and our ongoing efforts to develop new features and updates to the game, and push it in the direction such that all players are enabled to fully enjoy all features and aspects of our game.
This is stance that we have stuck by with every decision that has been made. With that, we are pleased to introduce to you, the Looting Point System.
The Looting Point System will be a core game mechanic update. Looting Points will now be required to initiate Looting Missions. Looting Points can be earned through Mining Expeditions.
With the introduction of the Looting Point System, we are looking to address a few issues that have been repeatedly surfaced by the Crabadian community.
What are Looting Points?
Looting Points are points that are awarded to a user after the completion of a Mining Expedition. Looting Points are required to start a Looting Mission.
The Looting Point System will aim to:
- Enable competitive players to experience the Looting aspect of the game
- Reduce the maximum operational efficiency of full-time Looters, and closing the reward-gap ratios
- Encourage a balance between Mining vs Looting activity
Looting Point System Mechanics

- 1 Mining Expedition grants 4 Looting Points
- 1 Looting Mission consumes 1 Looting Point
- Looting Points are directly attached to teams (TeamID)
- Looting Point cap = 12
Note: Players are able switch out Crabada in their teams in between Mining and Looting. Eg. they can choose to deploy a Prime Crabada for Mining, and swap it out with a Bulk to Loot as they deem.
Pre vs Post-Update Comparisons

With the Looting Point System in place, the max efficiency of any given player is reduced by 44.13% as compared to pre-update, effectively closing the reward-gap ratios, which should address the inequality of reward opportunities.
*The above table is a representation of the maximum possible scenarios of pre and post-update to showcase the reduction in max efficiency, and is in no way a representation of each player’s accurate rewards.
Update Release Details
The update will take place on 12 Apr 2022, between 7am UTC to 11am UTC (Update duration:~4 hours).
7am UTC
— Game is stopped for 30 minutes. Players will not be able to interact with the game within this period. All Mines that are closed after this time will be awarded with 4 Looting Points.
11am UTC
— Update is successfully completed. Looting will now require 1 Looting Point.
Wishing everyone, Good Crabbing! #snibsnib
