Hot Take — A game with hot new updates and power energy is as exciting as it gets. Spicy. And we heard you!

The Fancy Dev team has been hard at work to bring some snazzy vision goggles for your birds. And I am sure you are wondering- are these safety focals or maybe they are fly blinkers??….

Well, let’s just say they help you make some real hot Golden Crashes!! Yeah, you heard that right. (Pssst, we did mention in our Discord that excitement is brewing at the game development end).

So here are three new updates for our Fancy community that go live June 27, 2022 around 16:00 UTC (it may take a few hours to fully update, but get ready!).

Update #1: Fly in F-Ray Mode

Starting June, 27, 2022, your birds will see a whole new game mode provided you have the newly introduced F-Ray Goggles for game vision enhancement.

Fun Fact: Scientists claim that birds have more color-sensitive eye cones than humans and rely on their excellent color vision to find food, escape predators and navigate crashes while flying.

Hmm, Imma in…but what are these F-Ray Goggles?

Well the F-Ray Goggles, as we said, are Vision enhancers for your birds and are available for purchase in the Fancy Marketplace. They come in four different levels (Levels 1, 2, 3 & 4) with varying recharging capability. New F-Ray Goggles cost $30 USDC or the equivalent price in sFNC or ETH. Recharge prices will vary as per the level you choose to be in or upgrade to.

We do have many more details and specifications on F-Rays features coming in our very next article. Keep an eye (umm, or vision enhancer) out for that !

Now when you fly in the F-Ray mode, some tree logs will occasionally appear Golden in color. Crashing into these Golden Logs gives the player a 95% chance of winning a Golden Ticket. And really, who doesn’t love surprises while flying…and that’s why the prize REVEAL is only made after you crash and finish flying your bird. So get ready to fly, stack your odds and wait for those exciting reveals.

But wait, that’s not all…We’re adding even more excitement with the Golden Raffles prize. ‘Whoa! what’s that?’ you ask.

The Golden Raffle prize is a mix mystery bag with the following elements randomly mixed:
- Resources which can help you to “Craft” (future update- stay tuned)
- In-game power-ups (more info coming soon)
- USDC prizes (ranging from $1 — $250)
- Golden Tickets (Golden Tickets are used to enter the Golden Raffle). So we highly recommend you win some Golden tickets and stack up resources for more game power in the future. Each Golden ticket stands a 75% chance of winning a prize.

Update #2: Feed your bird some Fancy Seeds

We are bringing in an exciting fly energizer for your birds to continue earning FNC in their quests. Effective June 27, 2022, Fancy Seeds will be available for purchase in the Fancy Marketplace and need to be consumed by your bird to earn FNC.

We hope you love airdrops because each bird holder will be airdropped 1 Fancy Seed for every bird they own. So stay tuned to our Discord for the airdrop update and read our next article for more details on seeds specifications and costs.

Update #3: In-game Pricing Changes

Recently some changes have been made to the breeding costs. These include:

Breed 1: 10 USDC/bird or the equivalent price in sFNC or ETH.
Breed 2: 15 USDC/bird or the equivalent price in sFNC or ETH.
Breed 3: 20 USDC/bird or the equivalent price in sFNC or ETH.
Breed 4: 25 USDC/bird or the equivalent price in sFNC or ETH.

Tournament Entries: 0.35/1.50/2.50 USDC (depending on prize) or the equivalent price in sFNC or ETH.

Name changes: 5 USDC or the equivalent price in sFNC or ETH.
